River City Opera brings an adventurous and bold perspective to the classical arts by removing barriers between the audience and the performer. We will bring opera to underserved audiences in Richmond and the surrounding areas by performing in non-traditional venues, sponsoring educational outreach events, and focusing on audience and performer diversity. Opera represents the human condition in all forms and we want every patron to see their own story onstage.
